Meet the Team

Picture

Johanna M Rae
Event Coordinator

Johanna began Ages of Pages to help bring together all the people who share a love for books. Her vision was to create a family friendly atmosphere, encompassing as many genres as possible. She also wanted to support reading across NZ, so every Ages of Pages event raises money (from the official table) for Duffy Books in Homes.

The first Ages of Pages in 2021 was a grand success, and Johanna was thrilled to declare it an annual affair. Look out for Ages of Pages in late April or early May every year!

Johanna loves meeting readers, old and new, as well as other authors. When she's not writing books of her own, she loves to curl up by the fire on a wintery day, with a hot cup of coffee, a comfy blanket, and a good read.

Sarah-Elizabeth

Marketing/Event Support
Sarah-Elizabeth, known online as @booksramblesandcoffee, is a Hamilton-based book content creator, social media manager, and event planner. By day, she’s a singing teacher, but in between lessons, she’s busy writing her first novel, belting out show tunes at the local theatre, or handcrafting magical wands for her business, @colemanswands.

With a passion for building bookish communities, both online and in person, Sarah-Elizabeth loves bringing readers together to share their love of stories.

For Ages of Pages 2025, she’s supporting Johanna with marketing and event logistics, helping to spread the word and create a smooth, engaging experience for attendees. She’s excited to connect with authors, fellow book lovers, and make this year’s event unforgettable!

Jaime

Social Media /Event Support
Jaime @plot_twist_turtle , a bookstagrammer locally based who loves chatting about books and having bookish conversations.

She is super excited to help out with running the social media, bringing some new content to the feeds, and of course meet everyone on the day. She's also  hoping to help facilitate on-the-day interviews and maybe instigate full blown panels in the future!

Jess

Admin/Event Support
Jess aka @j.readsnrambles is a bookstagrammer who has recently rediscovered a love for reading. She'll be assisting with behind the scenes admin, logistics, and in-person support on event day.

She juggles being a Mum, a Democracy Advisor for local government and being chronically ill and partially deaf. Reading is her escape from reality and a chance to journey into endless worlds. She is a sucker for any sort of romance, but her heart will always belong to romantasy!
